ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Minister Lawrence Moore, a native of Bronx, New York, is the founder and executive director of the Hallowed Ground Christian Ministries in Stockbridge Georgia. Hallowed Ground programs are primarily focused on summer camp, mentoring, and performing arts for children and youth. Although called to preach the Gospel in 2004, Minister Moore has been involved in youth and young adult ministries for over 20 years. He is presently the Youth, College and Young Adult pastor at Greenforest Community Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia. He received his Bachelor's degree in business management from Saint John’s University.

Lawrence is the proud father of seven beautiful children: Lawrence, Jr., Emmanuel, Christopher, Jeremiah, Martin, Malcolm and Jayla. His wife Leslie of almost 14 years lost her battle with Cancer in February 2008.

Shelley Jones was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Atlanta Georgia. She received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Spelman College and her Masters in Curriculum Development from the University of Michigan. She is currently an Elementary School Teacher at a Christian school in Decatur Georgia. She is also heavily involved in the Young Adult ministry at the Greenforest Community Baptist Church as a leader, bible study instructor, and Sunday school teacher. Shelley is very passionate in her desire to help children and to be used by God.
